The Board of Directors for HELP the Animals meets on a monthly basis to review shelter operations, policies, financial information and fundraising.
The Board has three primary responsibilities:
Guard the Resources: the Board maintains the financial stability of the organization, including budgeting, fundraising, and monitoring expenses.
Guide the Staff: the Board hires and supervises the Shelter Director, who hires and supervises all other staff. The Board sets priorities for the Director and relies on them to execute policies and programs.
Implement a Vision: The Board set the direction for the organization as a whole, and decides what policies and programs will best serve the shelter’s overall mission.
Our Board has a full calendar of fundraisers and other events throughout the year to keep the shelter funded. We are a group of individuals from many different backgrounds who come together to work on behalf of animal welfare and ensure that HELP The Animals is there for animals in need for many years to come.
