Help recieves spectacular donation from Penski Chevrolet!
September 17th 2014
HELP transports animals to vet appointments every day. Our van has been broken for a few weeks and our employees have used their personal vehicles to transport. With unbelievable timing Penske Chevrolet donated a 1999 ford Econoline conversion van with very low mileage to HELP the Animals. What a wonderful gesture for a company to care about homeless animals in our community. It is in very good condition and we are thrilled. The general manager of Penski Honda, Bruce Heath is the one that helped make the final decision and felt The HELP Shelter was a wonderful cause and wanted to help us. Thank you Penske for helping our shelter and homeless animals!
We Need Your HELP...
We are fund-raising to replace the old dog kennels and do much needed drainage repairs.
HELP is a non-profit organization that is relies on donations and sponsors. Any donation that you can make towards the renovation would be greatly appreciated and is tax-deductable. Find out how you can help...
Thank You Wayne County Foundation for getting us closer to our goal!
Ways You Can Help the Animals...
"I always thought someone should do something about that, then I realized, I am that someone."
HELP the Animals relies solely on donations, fund-raisers and grants to be able to continue helping lost, neglected, abused and abandoned pets in Wayne County, Indiana and beyond. All funds provided by donations will help keep our doors open and continue providing shelter to our furry residents. We do not receive assistance from any city or county government agencies and rely on your generosity to be able to help animals in need. Please donate generously and make a difference in the lives of shelter animals.
Your monthly tax-deductable contribution keeps our doors open and able to provide veterinary care, food and shelter to all the animals in our shelter. By sponsoring an animal, kennel or cat cage, we have a more dependable way to gauge our ability to intake all the animals we possibly can.
Sponsor a specific animal in need at the shelter.
Sponsor a specific kennel or cat cage at the shelter.
HELP is a volunteer based organization. We are always appreciative of our volunteers and have many opportunities for direct animal care, animal behavior/training, clerical help, building maintenance, and of course fund-raising.
Are you looking to directly help a dog or cat in need? We need volunteers to help us with our mission and you can become directly involved with animal care, exercising, grooming or socializing the animals.
Don’t want to get your hands dirty? We are always in need of someone to help us with data entry, answering phones and general office help.
Open your heart and your home temporarily to the special needs of recovering animals, seniors, puppies and kittens that require extra love and care.
We have many events throughout the year and on-going fund-raising programs and projects that need man/woman power to keep us going. We also welcome the community to create their own fund-raisers that benefit the shelter.
Find out how you can make a difference in the life of an animal through our Guardian Angel Sponsorship Program. All sponsorship proceeds directly help, heel, love and care for a local homeless pet temporarily residing at HELP the Animals Shelter.
